Ask Amy: Superstitious about wife's trips

Dear Amy: My mother is my father's third wife. He loves her very much, and we're quite comfortable with his discussing his first wives because we know he loved them very much and especially because he has two children with each who visit frequently, and with whom my mother and I get along very well.
